Winter Time With Vantage

It may be Winter in Australia but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the crisp taste of Vantage.

The combination of Australian Lemon Myrtle, Tasmanian black pepperberries and mandarin oil has a beautiful warming sensation and served neat, on the rocks is a beautiful winter sip.

And, if you’re a cocktail lover like us, you can enjoy this beautiful cocktail by The Margarita Mum (follow her on instagram @the_margarita_ mum) - it’s called the Vantage Bishop and it’s a sublime combination of red wine and Vantage - the red wine really complementing the pepperiness in the Tassie pepperberries. It is sure to warm you up this winter!

VANTAGE BISHOP - RECIPE BY THE MARGARITA MUM

INGREDIENTS:

60ml Vantage
30ml good quality Shiraz - preferably a peppery one
15ml Lime Juice
15ml Simple Syrup

METHOD:

Place Vantage, lime and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously until combined.
Double strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Gently pour the Shiraz over the back of a spoon held just above the drinks surface so the wine floats on top.

GARNISH:
fresh thyme sprigs
